Born on July 26, 2025, Punch was rejected by his mother and hand-raised by zookeepers. To comfort him, they gave him an IKEA Djungelskog orangutan plush — lovingly called “Ora-mama.”

When reintroduced to Monkey Mountain in January 2026, Punch struggled to fit in. Viral clips showed him clinging to his plush while navigating rejection and isolation. But he never gave up.

By late February, the world witnessed a breakthrough grooming and acceptance from an adult macaque named Onsing. A symbol of hope. A symbol of not giving up.

The hashtag #HangInTherePunch trended globally.

And this tee is a tribute to that spirit.
